traffic jam and was trying to think up an idea for a new show when it hit him: MTV Cops! You know, a cop show that looked like a music video complete with top 40 hits? I've been trying to think of what that would look like today. Just like Sonny Crocket, Oh Boy! Anyway, I remember reading an interview with the show's creator who said that he had been stuck in an L.A. (Look it up kids.) It's hard to believe it, but yes - we actually dressed like that! Anyone remember the "Miami Device"? It was a little gadget that you attached to your electric razor so that you could shave and leave your beard at the perfect "looks like you haven't shaved in three days" look. Those of us of a.ehem.certain age, remember Crockett and Tubs when they first came into our living rooms via network and broadcast TV.
